Hans Erni and his staff were waiting to welcome us on the 7th of October.  They fortified us with wine, beer, water, and pop as well as cheese and crackers and munchies  to get us ready to scope out the new equipment for this year.  They also answered many questions regarding the type of equipment to purchase and the new trends.

     Some regular guests (Adrienne) waited until this night to join the club because they received a $20 off voucher for merchandise.  She got a pretty good deal on those new skis!

     Other members also took advantage of the discount to purchase new equipment.  Doris walked around with her new skis and did not want to put them down!  We wondered if she was going to sleep with them?

     I had to have that green top, but Kathy helped Doris (our resident Thunderbird shopper) resist a new ski jacket when she saw the major price tag! 

     Although our numbers were small, we were glad that Janet Hassen, Jim Welch, Ron Wilson and a few other Thunderbirds from the "other side of town" were able to make it!

    Some of us even headed to Dick Odow's for further fun and refreshments!
