Another year for our fifth
Plymouth Whaler
Hockey
Game, but
this year was the first time the TBirds witnessed a 0 -2
loss in a game with the Mississauga
Majors (near Toronto)
Our
Whalers were out skated from the start, and our game
record at four wins and only one loss stands as not a
bad statistic. The 25 TBirds who attend enjoyed
great food and drink as
usual in the CJ Brewery Restaurant,
although
two members were not able to find the Whaler Room and
were forced to enjoyed the crowded bar. Next
year, guys, I will draw a map.
The highlight of my evening
was Marty Zinlak’s debate with our server in the
description of what is “Angry Marinara Sauce”. The
answer:
very hot.
A special thanks to the many regulars who have
attended every game for the five seasons I have hosted.
Though the attendance
was down this season I hope to bring it back to the
normal fifty or so.
